December 13th: Traveling Serenity was super helpful with Maia. She watched her in Barnes and Noble while Daddy paid, she changed her diaper and got her in pajamas at night (which not even Mama and Daddy can always accomplish!) Eric had some crazy work to catch up on, so the snowball fight is set up but hasn’t happened yet =) More fun for later!
The trip home was fairly uneventful, except for my stuffy nose. Oh, and my beautiful beach rock that got me stopped at customs. They had to test the rock, I guess to make sure it wasn’t cocaine? When I got home at 9:45pm, Serenity was the only one awake. I heard her little voice saying “Mama? Mama?” So I ran upstairs to get some snuggles. She was wide awake after that so we chatted about my trip. She was so cute, when I called her on the phone to ask her about her day, she said, “But Mama, I want to know what’s going on in your part of the world!”
