Hi.

Welcome!

December 14th: Concert!

December 14th: Winter Concert I got SO many snuggles today.  I missed my babies!  Then we headed out to the Winter Concert!  Maia gave me a little concert in the car on the way.  We’ve been listening to Pentatonix Christmas album in the car, and she has evidently learned the words to White Christmas and Hallelujah.  I really hope I can get a video of her singing “the baffled king composes Hallelujah” in her tiny three year old voice.  So sweet!  She also loves singing Do You Hear What I Hear, by Laurie Berkner.  She asks for that to be repeated a lot =)

The kids concert, was adorable, as always. Serenity’s teacher posted this comment: “This is my class of second graders before their Winter Concert! Lots of energy and personality! They did an awesome job! “ And Maia was reasonably well behaved.  She kept switching seats, but we had an aisle on nearly the back row to ourselves, and she was quiet at least.  Serenity was her usual dramatic self, using big grand gestures that were adorable and visible even from the back row =)  DZ was playing with his turtle necklace a bit, but he remembered to raise his hand for the month of June in the Remember December song.

After the concert we got chick-fil-a, as I haven’t made it to the grocery store yet, and headed home to relax.  We worked on finishing up our first round at the Christmas post office, and just snuggled.  Maia asked to rock in the chair so many times!  We read books and cuddled.  It’s not unusual for her to ask to rock in the chair, but she usually ends up climbing on the arms, jumping on me, jumping to the bed from the chair, and generally making it an Olympic sport.  Today, all she wanted was to cuddle =)
