We went to Rhema today! I just loooove all the beautiful lights! And this year we made it five minutes before they turned the lights on, which was a thrill. Maia LOVED it. She ran down all the paths saying "Whoa!!" She stayed and stared at the lights on the bridge while Serenity and DZ continued down the path. Donovan's favorite part was the giant swirly ornament. I kind of want turquoise lights for our house next year =)
Thursdays are the day DZ stays home from school, and it was a particularly great one. He and Maia played happily in my closet, which I love to see. I sometimes worry Maia will get left out, but both kids adore her. He worked really hard making light sabers out of perler beads. He made a red one first, and instead of doing the green one on the original pattern, he decided to make a purple one for his sister. Then he was inspired to do the green for Daddy and the blue for me. =) So fun! He also decided to make them loose so he cold hold them instead of making it a solid square like the pattern I printed. And they are a blast!
