I just love mass producing gingerbread houses =) I made 28 this year and all but two got used, and I even had enough counter space to hold them. I could probably make 50 in this house and not run out of room. Oooh, and I could use the mud room too. =)
The party today went really well! So many fun families came to decorate houses! The kids loved decorating and snacking on the treats, and then they ran around to play and I actually got to talk with other adults for awhile! So fun! Donovan tried to wait for Shira to start on his house, but finally gave in. He did make sure there was always a chair free for her next to him though. Serenity and Lorelai had a blast at their table, and their houses were adorable. Maia was a quiet little ninja and was discovered several times to have found her way into the leftover candy plates. And once a bag of marshmallows. =) After the gingerbread party wound down, Matt, Lillyan and Brennan came over for game night. We enjoyed pizza, the kids did more gingerbread houses and then played complicated games involving other dimensions, while the adults got to play two games of Race for the Galaxy!
