I walked out with Mia and it was SO CUTE! Mama, why are you laughing? On the way to school today, Donovan was chanting Shira's name. I told her Mom about it, and she told me about a conversation she had with Shira. She was telling her that it was Friday, and she'd get to go to school and see Donovan. Shira said, "Mom, I already saw Donovan. In my DREAMS." Soooo sweet!

Donovan is so funny =) And he has just the best laugh! One day, I heard him talking to Pierce. He said "I am wearing wacky pants. You are not wearing wacky pants. These, are my wacky pants." I looked back to see what on earth he was wearing. Khaki pants! He also loves telling knock-knock jokes, and he is at the stage where he'll let them go on forever. =)
He still loves school. I hear a lot from him about his classmates, especially his friend Shira. He has been to her house for playdates twice, and she came here once. He was watching me go through pictures, and when he saw the picture of Shira he said in a sad little voice, "I MISS Shira." I guess yesterday was a long time ago when you are four! He also likes to sing me the Egypt song with all the motions. =)
Donovan is turning into a serious gamer =) He was very happy to get Skylanders back when he helped unpack. And he is playing lots of Daddy games! We are starting to play 7 Wonders with him and he's really getting it! Yay! He especially loves winning the fight stages of that game. He still plays lots of X-men with Daddy, and occasionally Epic Duels.
He also loves Legos. One day he asked to rebuild his Lego Chima alligator car thing. I looked quickly but couldn't find the instructions, and told him it would have to wait until I had time to look better. Well, he went through every lego tub by himself, found the instructions and the bag with the pieces, and so we got to build! It is really fun! He can do most of the building on his own, although the connector pieces for the advanced sets like Chima require help.
