Cookies!! December 16th: Winter Concert and Cookies at Aunt Jen's
I adore the winter concert! And this year I had two children and three nieces and nephews to watch! Everyone did such a great job and it was so cute! Serenity was really into the motions, she was basically dancing at the front of her group. And you could see that DZ was really singing and he was doing most of his motions too. He especially liked the part where he got to SHOUT! =)
After the concert we went to Jen's for cookie baking! Maia fell asleep in the car so we spent an hour resting while they did the cutting part, but we made it inside for decorating. Aunt Jen gave Maia her first cookie! She declared it "mmmm!" DZ went for blue icing and blue sprinkles... but he may not have been ready for full control of the sprinkle container. When I glanced over he had emptied nearly a whole jar on one cookie. It was a blue sprinkle mountain! He looked a little concerned for a second, until I declared that it looked delicious! His cousins all said "Wow DZ!" Then he got a big grin and picked it up for a bite! =)
Theoretically the kids are spending the night at Aunt Jen's tonight... but the night's not over yet so we'll see =)
