December 7th: Winterfest!
As Eric said, it was a Winterrific Winterfest. Serenity could skate all by herself. Actually, she can skate circles around Eric. One footed glides, spins, and she never took a break. And Donovan got on the ice and tried skating alone too! And he skated a lot holding just one hand, so Eric didn't break his back this year. And it was especially fun because we met Jen and the boys! I got to chat with Jen and she took turns holding Maia. Yay! It was the perfect evening for it. Maia was ready to leave after an hour so we didn't risk the carriage ride this year, but maybe next year.
The rest of our day was wonderful too. I got to grocery shop alone! Yay =) And I got everything I think I need for the gingerbread house party, and I assembled a dozen gingerbread houses. So fun! Eric got to play a little UNO with the kids, and we took turns playing Farmville. Might be a touch addicted to that... possibly. =)
Maia was chewing on my dress while I was sitting on the couch, and I asked her to not eat my dress. Serenity said, "I know what to do!" and she went and grabbed the Christmas Parade. Sure enough, as soon as Serenity said "Boom biddy boom biddy" Maia crawled across the room and started her happy dance! So cute! Serenity is really a helpful girl. I spilled my coffee and she came running over with a napkin for me. So nice =)
