Serenity's Cardboard Village and pics from the Zoo

Today, after completing a whole bunch of checkmarks on our house to-do list, we decided it was time to build a cardboard village. We had saved all the appliance boxes and moving boxes, and we turned our living room into a huge tunnel of cardboard. Tina, Eric and I had so much fun planning it and crawling around in it. Then, when Serenity woke up from her nap, she charged right for it! She kept saying “Find Daddy.” And then she’d crawl through the tent or run through the tunnel. She loved playing peekaboo with Tina and locating Mama hiding in the tent. It was so much fun! She was completely spazzed out by the end of the evening though. She was so worn out she was walking into walls and giggling like crazy at Eric’s dunking antics (expect video on Phanfare when I get my act together.) She was also very screechy until she got dinner, but we figure she was very hungry as she hadn’t eaten much more than yogurt, string cheese and pretzels for lunch. It was a complete crazy blast and we all love her newest toy =) It’ll be hard to take it down! Serenity might help out there though because she dived onto one of the tents and brought it down. She’s so her father’s daughter =)
