December 14th: Movie Night and Sleepover Under the Tree Today we had two cards! I got the kids and Eric new pajamas for the annual sleepover under the Christmas tree. The day I went shopping, I didn't tell the kids what I was shopping for, just that I was getting a surprise. Serenity said, get me something purple or pink and sparkly or with cats. Donovan said, "I want green dinosaurs." Ok. Kohls had Hello Kitty pajamas in purple and a dinosaur pajama set from Carter's that had matching dinosaur slippers. So I ditched the matching pajama idea and got those =) Eric ended up in Green Lantern. The kids wore their pajamas all day long!
The movie I chose was Prep and Landing. It was a hit! Both kids liked it and giggled through the whole thing. It seemed short but that works well at this age. Next we're watching Charlie Brown Christmas all snuggled up under the tree. =) We'll see if they are awake for another one after this! Donovan got a three hour nap today (naptime was required by Mama after one too many breakdowns over stickers.) So we may be up late!
