We celebrated Dad's birthday early this year. The kids made ornaments for his tree, and I baked a coconut pie and made chicken enchiladas for dinner. It was so much fun. The kids love when he comes over and dragged him all over the house to show him their various toys and lego creations. =)
Serenity got to go back to school at last. Dad picked her up from school and they played at his house for a while, which always makes her happy to get one on one time with Papa. Donovan and I had another very laid back day, with lots of Zingo, Sequence for kids, and Super Why puzzles. He wanted to help me with everything I did, whether it was cleaning or making Papa's pie. He actually was helpful at sweeping the floor. =) He was SO happy when sister finally came home though, and they went off together to play in their various hideouts while the rest of us ate dinner.
