November 26th
For the past three years each December I've done a month of journaling to record a month out of our lives and our holiday traditions as well. This year I'm starting advent a little early because we're going to be in California for Christmas day, so I decided to start my December Daily a bit early too =)
This morning we got to check the advent calendar for the first time! Serenity was thrilled and told Donovan all about it. They found some fruit snacks, and a card that said today was music day! I got the new Laurie Berkner Christmas cd, and we all love it! I actually managed to load it into Donovan's music player, the computer and my phone so we got to listen to it on the way to school as well! Serenity danced to jingle bells, and Donovan found his rhythm to the drum song. And then they both pretended to sleep for one song which is sooo cute!
We also got a little play-doh time this morning. Serenity loves play-doh and has finally gotten to the point that she will make her own thing instead of just telling me what she wants. Donovan likes me to make balls for him to hold, and stacking the play-doh containers.
