Celebrating holidays with my siblings is always wonderfully chaotic, even when we're short two brothers. The kids (and Eric) played a riotous game of soccer with a beach ball in the back yard. Donovan wasn't too sure about all the commotion, and pretty much only wanted to play with Barrett, Casey and the dog. He did blow everyone kisses goodnight though. =) Serenity was in heaven, and was pretty much attached to Raegan's side. They played tag as well, and even KaLynn got in on the fun. =)
Jen made an amazing meal, as always. And since so many of us are trying to eat healthier, there were some healthier options like quinoa and brussels sprouts, in addition to the normal potatoes, rolls, and other lovely Thanksgiving treats. This year she had the brilliant idea to invite us over the day before to help her prepare food, so Mom, Kelly and I got to enjoy being her cooking minions, chopping and stirring whatever she put in front of us. I made pies with Serenity just like Grandma Bair taught me, and Mimi's sand tarts. When I sent the extra sand tarts and pie home with David he said it was better than Christmas. =)
I love my family! =)
