Serenity is starting to play a few games! Just in the last month or so. She never wanted to wear hats. As soon as they went on her head she’d take them off. One day when we were at the zoo I was trying to talk her into wearing her hat. I’d say..”Your hat goes on your head…” and put it back on. She started to laugh when she took it off, and she said “haaat” “heeeeaaad.” Like I was the silliest person in the world for putting something on her head =) So Eric started putting random things on his own head, and Serenity would grin, say “hat” and proceed to take it off. The hat game is great fun. She’s also starting to peekaboo. I was changing her diaper and covered her face with her pants to distract her from rolling away. She pulled the pants off and I said “peekaboo, I see you!” And then she covered her own face! She did this again and again, grinning the whole time!
Serenity is definitely a people person. She loves it when people talk to her, and she gives them beautiful smiles! She likes to be carried, and one of her first clear words was “UP!” She also likes to rock. Both for fun and for snuggling =) If you put her in the chair and rock it fast it’s great fun, and sometimes she’ll get in your lap just to rest and cuddle.
