One of our favorite activities together this year has been using the front carrier and going for walks. She is definitely my California Baby, she didn’t know what to do with herself if we didn’t get to go outside every day. We started using the carrier when she was around four months. Our apartment was right across the street from the park, and I’d walk her there at least once a day, singing silly songs like Winnie the Pooh and talking about everything we saw. And we’d wander through the grocery store, playing with balloons and spending a ridiculous amount of time in the baby food aisle =) And Eric would take her on a before bed walk around the apartment complex. They’d stop and look out at cars, or visit the fountain. She was mesmerized by both those things. We really miss our fountain now! Somewhere in the fifth month we let her try the baby swings at the park. She loves them! Even going to the park daily she never seemed to tire of swinging. We’d always visit the swings in Cupertino when we went to visit Eric’s parents on a pretty day. And now, PaPa Bair bought her a baby swing and installed hooks for it in his living room, his garage, and on a tree outside so she can swing in any weather! We’ve even taken it one step farther, letting her twirl (by twisting the swing). She loves twirling too, the faster the better. There is a definite possibility that she will like roller coaster and other rides that her Mama will never take her on. That can be Dada’s job. Do you hear that Eric?
