Serenity still loves the outdoors. Her favorite activity right now is picking dandelions! She will wander all over the yard, picking dandelions and clover for as long as you’ll let her. She especially likes the ones that have already lost their fuzz, even more than the yellow ones. She also enjoys playing in the playhouse Jen and Casey passed down to us, particularly opening and shutting the doors and windows. She tries to say open but that’s one of the words you have to be around her a lot to understand, because it sounds almost like “happy.” Sort of… “opi” She also loves sliding down the slide. We started sliding during Gymboree, and Eric always recites “Jack and Jill went up the hill” to teach her cause and effect. She slides when Jack falls down. She has almost figured out how to go down the slide by herself. I have to help her with the steps because they’re a little narrow, but she can swing her leg over and push herself down!
