Road Trip New Orleans!
Donovan said when he was packing, “I have three books but only two pockets!!!” It was a problem 😂🥰🤩
Day 2, Mardi Gras World! I’ve always thought Mardi Gras would be beautiful but never wanted to brave the crowds, so when I found this tour where you can see floats being built and decorated, I was thrilled! It was Sera’s top pick too and we LOVED it! So many cool styrofoam and papier-mâché creations!!! Plus there was a nice shuttle so I didn’t have to move the car 😂. We got to taste King Cake on our tour! Yummy but no baby 😜 We wandered along the river to Jackson Square, and found an awesome jester statue Jason Bair told us about! We saw the beautiful old buildings, caught a magic show which had us all giggling as they “borrowed” a 20 from Eric which turned up inside a lemon 🤩. We headed back to the hotel and drove to Natchitoches for their pretty Christmas lights and to rest up for our next adventure!
The girls asked for so many pictures with their favorite props! And I was more than happy to oblige. Believe it or not I did limit how many I attached to this post 😂😂😂
Green lantern! They glue styrofoam sheets together with Great Stuff spray foam, and carve shapes with hot knives and curry combs. There’s armature inside too.
Maia and I made lots of Kane Chronicles and Percy Jackson connections 🥰🥰🥰 so happy she enjoys my favorite stories!
Soooo many cool dragons!
Pearl 🥰
Aaaaallll the Jester Pics =) And pokestops ;)
Queen Bee! Sera and Eric love playing Apiary these days so this pic was a must.
Maia swears this is butterbeer 😂😂😂
Joy theater in daylight 🥰. Definitely got our exercise hustling back to the hotel.
Proof DZ enjoyed the street magician =) He was very funny!
Natchitoches Christmas lights! So pretty!
They all snuggled up to game together while Eric and I went out to dinner 🤩 The restaurant we chose turned out to be a gas station but it did have great pie! ;)
