Christmas Around the World Day 3: Sweden!

Even Finn got jammies!

Today is Sweden! I found little Dalahest gummies, which were so fun because we tried all different kinds of gummies in Sweden. Ann said kids in Sweden would get pocket money to buy candy on the weekends and there was a bunch of fun shapes and flavors. Maia and I made kanelbullar for breakfast. Well we cheated and used cinnamon rolls but I got the special Pearl sugar from Sweden. . Then in the evening we all got Swedish pajamas! Eric got these every Christmas growing up and I found some with dalahest . Even Finn got some! I had to give DZ my top so it would fit over his cast but he was THRILLED. He loves Swedish jammies and he outgrew the last set.

I also showed the kids a livestream from a town in Sweden called Gavle, where they build a 43 foot tall straw goat every year. It is crazy fun but sadly it often burns down . Not sure which part they loved the most.

My newest dalahest . Well I got it in Sweden but just put it out.

Eric made a new chart and we’ve been playing a ton of pandemic, and the kids are joining us! Family board games are the best!

Maia got invited to a hockey game birthday party and got to skate on the ice!
