Christmas Around the World Day 2: England!

Today’s flag was Great Britain! I wrote England on the tag and a couple of kids pointed out my mistake . I set these things up after my bedtime . ;)

We were invited to the Palfreyman’s house to stir the Christmas pudding and make a wish! It was so much fun to share their tradition in person .

They had a finished pudding we could smell! Sera was excited to hear they get lit on fire 😂🤩

We also got cards in the mail as the first Christmas card was sent in England in the 1800s and I bought Christmas crackers that we opened at dinner. Discovered Eric had no idea what any of these things are as he was expecting crackers to snack on and a custard type pudding, so we’re all learning!

The jokes were a hit 🥰

I also signed us up for a class at the Fab Lab! We got to engrave slate ornaments and everyone loved it! They turned out so cute and we all want to go back!

Maia surprised me with Hedwig and Harry Potter! She didn’t want to sit with us so she could surprise us. I was so proud that she asked for the teacher’s help and figured it out!

DZ put Boxy the Snowman on his ornament!!! I nearly cried, he loves my cardboard creations SO much 🥰😍🥰 Sera’s has an adorable fox, so perfect!
