Maia School 3rd Grade

Maia loves Mrs. Cetta’s third grade class! Here is some of the fun she’s been having!

Maia researched a Native American tribe and built a diorama with a traditional dwelling. It was a great project! She chose Quapaw even though it wasn’t on the list of choices because Papa said we had a little bit of Quapaw blood. And of course Maia prefers to pick her own project that is a bit different.

I got to come to the first Family PE day! They played Star Wars tag and it was a blast!

PJ day! The goal was to be as comfy as possible, and I say mission accomplished.

Dress Like a Pirate Day for Maia!

This morning she said “Mom, did you know there’s caffeine in chocolate?” I said I did, and she responded “Well, I’m pretty sleepy this morning, I think some chocolate is just what I need to get going!” 😂😂🤔🤩✔️

Dance Party!!! It was so much fun to get to dance with Maia! The kids love doing the conga and some line dance the Cupid Shuffle. Plus I got lots of hugs from my students too!

Music Program! Maia was SO nervous but it went well! They were adorable =)

Maia presented her research on why the brain remembers some thing and not others. I asked if she wanted to do anything with her hair… and she asked me if I could make it look like a brain. 😂🤩🥰 She made a clay model of the brain to help with her presentation. She adores Mrs. O!

Maia got glasses right at the end of the year. She’s sooooo cute!
