Serenity's 13th Birthday Book Spree
Chapter 13!!! This was hanging for two weeks before Eric read that.
Serenity is 13 years old!! Her birthday was an ongoing event this year. We thought it would be fun, since she just got vaccinated, if she could have lots of visits with friends and family, and spend time with one of her favorite activities, books! She's been treated to lots of bookstore shopping dates, and she had more scheduled for her California trip. I love her so much!! She's picked lots of fun books, and she had nice notes written in all of them to add to her special library. So far she's been book shopping with Papa, Aunt Jen, Grandma, Aunt Kelly, and Ava and Sasha.
Magic City Books! Trying out all the independent fun bookstores! Aunt Jen got her a book called Lore.
Serenity says Charlie Thorne is awesome, highly recommends!
Papa also got Serenity this adorable Squishmallow! She loves stuffies and soft things!
Grandma got her cute clothes. She was proud that Serenity actually made choices and got things. =)
Aunt Kelly and Raegan took her to Athleta and got her a new version of her all time favorite outfit that Raegan passed down to her years before. She was THRILLED! Most of her favorite clothes were Raegan’s first =)

Another independent bookstore! Eleanor’s, at the Mother Road Market! We got yummy brunch after and we celebrated Ava and Serenity, since their birthdays are close together. Sasha and I got to go too =)
We started with the ponytail silhouette, and then she got her hair cut . I love them both though!!

Serenity’s birthday continued! She got to go on so many more wonderful outings with friends and family in Cali. However, no one stuck to one book . They made it home but the suitcase was STUFFED Patricia commented “The only question we asked was... How much room do you still have in your suitcase? ”

Serenity and Eric are here! The first thing Henry said to Serenity when he opened the door was, "Why are you so tall???" I guess she didn't look like she grew in those zoom meeting boxes. And I think Henry somehow forgot he grew too!!!
Henry! They got back from Hawaii just in time.
They can still pick each other up but I think Serenity is definitely strong since Henry is heavier than her by a good amount!
