Donovan Spring 2020

Donovan has a question on his math homework and I knew how to explain the answer, so I cheered myself a little and said “Yay, I did something useful!” He replied “You also made me born.” So yes, I’ve done two useful things in my life

Donovan has been playing weekly DND games with his friend Evan from California.  They are both rangers and the thing they love most is their animal companions! =)  Sooo cute. 

Donovan loves to go on scooter rides and bike rides through the neighborhood!  He usually goes with Serenity or Eric, but sometimes he does quick runs on his own.  It’s a little more complicated now that he has to make sure he has emergency sugars and that his numbers are ok before exercise, but he doesn’t let that stop him from having fun!

We turned the game room into a battle zone for the kids to use his lightsabers and bow and arrow and have a training course.  We’ve had fun picking different themes for the game room!  It keeps it fresh and fun =)

Donovan still adores games!  He even used games to practice for his States and Capitals test.  Mama will always say yes to that =)  They have also had a lot of fun playing with their Animal Jam figures, and once they got out every single Pokemon card and played some sort of game with them… I’m not sure they used any actual rules but sometimes those games are the most fun.

He also still loves balls.  He got a nerf football in his Easter basket, and we use it all the time!

Donovan likes to sew, and he prefers to sew by hand!  He made a really cute tulip that he gave a long stem, and he loves to whip it around.  He also made Grandma a heart for her birthday.

DZ and Eric primed a bunch of minis and then Eric and the kids painted them all! They are for Eric’s new game, Sky Tear, and they had a blast!
