Donovan's Summer Fun

Summer Reading Program

Donovan just wrote down enough books to get the medal, he kept reading but he didn’t need the toy enough to write the titles down.  He read lots of A-Z mysteries, Animal Jam chapter books, and some Rainbow Magic Faeries. 

Whenever we were in town on a Wednesday, Donovan went with Eric to play Destiny at the shop.  They are definitely two peas in a pod when it comes to gaming.  =)

Baseball

Once again, we scheduled our trip so we missed the last baseball game!  It was two whole weeks later than we left last year, but with ALL the rain the schedule was even more messed up.  Donovan improved a lot this year and has said he wants to practice throwing so he can be in the pitching rotation in the spring!

Camp Incredible

One of Donovan’s camps was a lego camp!  They made cool lego mazes, boats that they raced with straws, and other amazing creations!  He said he was too busy building to make stop motion videos but he definitely had a blast. 

Donovan got Ticket to Ride Rails and Sails for his birthday from Ann and John.  It is a BLAST!  They sent it directly to Tulsa so I got to be the first to play with him.  I love it!

We got to see some pretty amazing fireworks right from our neighborhood
