Donovan in May 2019
I can’t remember what Donovan was building here, but I see him in his helmet a lot! He likes to ride his bike and the big kid scooter around the neighborhood a lot!
Donovan’s school birthday! He still loves to be sung to, and he still wants chocolate donuts as his birthday treat!
I want to make a happier life. I want to make everybody’s life better. I want stores to not run out of food. I want a pool in my backyard. That’s what I want to change in our world.
Donovan receives the Awesome Attitude Award. He is kind hearted, responsible, and he loves to learn. Donovan impressed his teachers and students with his knowledge of the iPAD when he gave his scholar’s presentation on the parts of the iPAD.Donovan is a good friend and a joy to have in the Primary 2 classroom. Donovan is receiving a York Peppermint Patty which mixes chocolate with the cool taste of mint. A cool treat for a COOL KID.
His scholar of the week project was SO much fun! He really loved digging into an iPAD.
I got to go on Donovan’s field trip to the zoo! I love getting to help with his class! I had a small group that went all around the park! The kids got to ride the carousel and the train too. DZ had so much fun! They climbed the big boulder, saw tigers and snow leopards, enjoyed a picnic lunch and had a blast.
Donovan is a really diligent student. He worked on his 3-D puzzle of a yurt for days, and when he draws something he colors in every part carefully! He didn’t correct his teachers on the spelling of his name this year though… they were very apologetic when they realized they’d been doing it wrong occasionally.
Donovan didn’t forget many of his swimming skills =) They all want to go back for more swim lessons.
We had some friends over for a playdate when school ended. They made a giant web out of yarn all around our entry, living and dining room. SO FUN!!! IT was a definite challenge to get around. And then it entertained us for days as we unraveled it. We saved most of the nice yarn to reuse =)
We spent a lot of time in the tornado closet this May, so we made it extra comfy.
Snow cone season is back!!!
Fancy! Spring Concert day!
DZ was really excited when Hatcher appeared at the same Braum’s we chose after the concert! It may need to become a tradition!
They love seeing each other on the playground!!!
