Vanaema and Far Far Visit!

We all love building Magformers together!

Ann and John came for the Drama Festival and part of Spring Break this year!  We all had so much fun!  They came to see the plays, and John nearly got to level 40 in Pokemon.  =)  We went hiking at Turkey Mountain.  The kids were annoyed at me because I didn’t want to take the rough path with all the boulders they like to take with Eric, but we had fun anyway.  It was the first time the kids made it all the way up the mountain and almost all the way back down without being carried.  Maia asked to be picked up about twenty feet from the end of the path, and then she hopped back down to do the last little bit.  It seemed like such a fast walk!  It used to feel like a real accomplishment to make it to the lake with the kids.  Today it felt like I blinked and we were there. 

We also went to the botanical garden for a nice walk. 

We were there for a Leprechaun Hunt, but the leprechauns were having a hard time keeping up with the kids so the kids ended up following her around as she hid more clovers =)

They of course played tons of cards with the kids and magformers.  They went walking to the green belt and generally made Spring Break so much fun!

Drama Festival was extra special with Ann and John!

Ann and Maia filled the planter on our porch with beautiful flowers! Maia helped her pick them and it is beautiful!
