Drama Festival March 2019

March is all about the drama festival.  Serenity was disappointed this year because she didn’t have many lines.  She played a female blacksmith.  She did manage to make the best of her part, and her teachers praised her to me often because she could really act well.  They would just make suggestions to her once and she would improve her performance and be able to repeat it without a reminder.  She speaks loudly and clearly and obviously loved the work.  She’s told me that she enjoys dance but she would rather do more acting instead next year.  The play she was in was set in Medieval times, and so there were knights and princes and damsels and chivalry.  They sang We Will Rock You and had lots of fun.  No time for ADEMAR cause we are the champions (Ademar was Nitya, who played the bad guy)

Donovan played the student in his Egyptian class play, which was a kind of narrator part, and so he had lots of lines to learn.  He did great!  He practiced diligently!

DZ got to enjoy a fun Egyptian lunch after the drama festival! He loved the mummy dogs =)
