December 20th: Movie Night =)

Movie Night!  I bought a tub of mixed popcorn and we had a movie marathon!  The kids tried to sleep by the tree, although Maia couldn’t fall asleep with the tv on and had to move to her bed about 10pm.  We watched Trolls Holiday special, Mickey Mouse Christmas, Curious George Christmas, Santa Buddies, and a couple of Disney Nature documentaries.

Donovan just watched the first couple shows, then he and Daddy headed off to a Destiny tournament at Covenant!  He had a BLAST!  He even won a game! He’s such a good sport and really good at strategy games. 

We let the kids attempt to sleep under the tree... but Maia couldn't settle down away from her own bed.  She seemed almost asleep after the Mickey's Christmas movie, she was nodding off during the credits at 10:15.  But evidently DisneyNature documentaries are too exciting because she got a second wind, so I moved her to her bed.  I promised her we could try again (without electronics!)  Serenity and Donovan love sleeping under the tree =)
