December 7th: Bear Hugs!

Today our advent activity was Bear Hugs :). I had already chosen a family from the list and picked up their bigger gifts.  But the kids helped me wrap them and Maia wanted to get them another gift. So I read her the wish list and when she heard they liked to dress up she said we should give her a Moana skirt.  So we added that and some my little pony dress up favors that were left from Maia’s birthday 😍

Watching the kids carry the gifts into school was precious, and Maia talks about it a lot.  So maybe she’s starting to get the idea :)

After drop off I went to mom’s new house for some more fabric fun :). We sorted through her collection of quilt squares and organized :). I love organizing, and sorting by color and project is the best.

I went and got my hair cut :). I love it!  A bit shorter in the back than the front and above my shoulders.  My hair really likes this cut it takes hardly any effort on my part 😂

Maia and I played a lot of Star from Afar :). Dz and Serenity were busy playing school, but Maia and I had fun taking turns hiding the star and finding it.

After the kids were asleep I made buttercream frosting for DZs class and added a wreath to my dining room light fixture.  And watched the pentatonix Christmas special.
