It was a rainy morning here, but warm enough we could enjoy it, particularly in the adorable new raincoat Vanaema got Serenity! Our advent calendar activity was to go on a candy cane hunt. We all enjoyed it! Serenity would announce with pride after each one, "I found a candy cane!" and put it in her bag.
We had an excellent shopping trip with Ann, and later in the afternoon went for a nice walk to Yogurtland! Serenity seemed sleepy all day, but not until we were in the car on the way to Henry's did she fall asleep. I think it was eight OK time and she thought it was bedtime. she kept her eyes shut for awhile and was grumpy for a while after that. a little quiet time with Henry's toy emporium warmed her back up a bit and we got to have a nice little visit! And now I have even more toys to add to the wish list ;). Henry is so cute! He does little dances when he's excited about a book. And I think he's the only kid we visit that actually likes to answer questions as much as Serenity!
