Well, we made it safely to Cali! I was worried about juggling the carry on, the car seat and Serenity in a busy airport, but not only was she very good to walk right with me, but 5 different people offered to help me carry her car seat! People are so nice :)
She was very excited to see FarFar and Vanaema! We had a great day playing with them. she especially loves playing "Where did Farfar go?". And he started a few very energetic games where he swung Serenity back and forth, and let her go kaboom on the yoga ball with a big bounce. She kept wanting more!
Our advent activity was to help Vanaema decorate, especially the outdoor Christmas tree. Serenity enjoyed it, although she only hung one or two herself, she directed the rest. As there were several color choices, she wanted the red balls to all be grouped together, and the blue, and so on. She is such an organized little soul :).
