December 4th: BAKE Cookie Party. (Serenity actually read all those words with no help!) So today was our cookie exchange party! I made Cranberry Thumbprint cookies (which should have been called Cranberry Messes), oatmeal cookies, and Molasses Orange Spice cookies. The last ones were roll out that I intended to do with Serenity, but she wasn’t really in the mood to bake early this morning and we were in a bit of a hurry since the party started at 11. She did enjoy eating the gingerbread men though! The party was a blast! I particularly loved that Serenity hugged Maggie the second she came through the door. They played Elefun and generally had a good time playing together. The cookie variety was wonderful although I have an insane amount of leftovers. Eric votes that next year people are required to leave with as many cookies as they brought. =) I loved getting to visit with friends and watch our kids have a good time together!
