December 2nd: PUZZLE
Serenity and Daddy sounded out this word together, and was she excited when she figured it out! She said “We’re going to do a puzzle together!” Together is a big word of hers now, she loves to point out when we’re doing things together, like climbing the stairs, or watching a show, or just wearing green together. =) She wanted to do the puzzle immediately. I love watching her figure things like that out. She said several questions that she wanted me to ask her. She said, “How many bunnies are there?” So I obliged her by asking how many bunnies were in the puzzle and she counted them in Spanish. =) Yay! It was 24 pieces and she did it with a little encouragement from us, mostly asking her things like, “can you find the rest of the snowman?”
It was an absolutely gorgeous day outside, so after errands we met Daddy at the park. She is so competent at the playstructures now even I am getting less nervous =) After we came home and she didn’t nap, she saw her Belle dress and asked to wear it and her princess crown. So I have been playing with Princess Serenity all evening =)
