Ok, so December Daily is just a little bit late... already. And I have to cheat and use a pic from today =) Oh well, as long as I journal every day I'm giving myself a pass, busy exciting things are happening! Here's the fun from yesterday!
December 1st: SING
We began our advent calendar today (just barely as I almost forgot the night before that it was December already!) The activity was SING (I’m trying to pick words that Serenity can read or figure out herself.) So after we enjoyed the polar bear chocolate, we sang Jingle Bells together! Serenity told me all day, “I like that song! Jingle Bells is my faaaaavorite song.” I also got a new Christmas cd, but due to technical difficulties we couldn’t play it. So this meant I sang myself hoarse in the car today, which was maybe even more fun for us. =) Papa also played some Josh Groban holiday music for Serenity, and she liked it so much she asked for it when she was put down for a nap.
The rest of the day was spent in a fury of activity for Barrett’s Jedi birthday! I made Yoda ears, r2d2, an instrument panel, half a Death Star, and five bean bags. So right on schedule. My sniffly baby girl obliged me by watching six episodes of Diego and Dora while I worked on this.
