December 15th: Movie Night
We had such a nice, relaxing day at home! And we finished it off with movies! First, the Santa Clause, since the word clause was on Serenity’s spelling list. They loved it! So many giggles. Tears too, but I’m getting used to it, and the opinion afterwards was that it was hilarious. They keep quoting the part where Tim Allen responds to the name question with “Kris Kringle. Pere Noel. Topo Gigio!” =) Maia enjoyed it too, although she didn’t pay attention to the whole thing, she definitely noticed when Tim Allen looked like Santa. And she liked Comet. After that, and three bags of popcorn, the kids weren’t really sleepy. So we watched Curious George’s Christmas special, followed by Prep and Landing, Donovan’s favorite Christmas movie. So much fun! The big kids slept the whole night under the tree! Maia had to go to her own room to fall asleep, but when she woke up in the night Eric brought her out and she slept the rest of the night on the couch. Soooo sweet. And cute I think in their jammies.
