The school carnival is so much fun, for me especially =) I have been helping by ordering all the prizes, and I have so many games made for different years I usually offer them to other classes. This year my van was completely stuffed with games and prizes and decorations! I turned the play structure into pirate ships, which I'd been thinking about doing for years. It turned out to be just as much fun as I hoped! Plus I brought lots of "cannonballs" (ball pit balls) and hid gold doubloons inside the structure. The kids had lots of fun with those, I'll have to think of more treasure to hide next year.
