December 6th: The Nutcracker Today, after leisurely hang out time in the morning with the Richards, we headed home in time to see Serenity's classmate Stuart in The Nutcracker! It was Donovan's first time watching The Nutcracker and he did so well! He laid his head in my lap a few times, but he loved finding Stuart on stage, and his favorite dance was the Spanish dancers, probably because of their awesome black and red costumes. Serenity kept saying "beautiful, beautiful!" and afterwards told me we should go see all the Nutcrackers every year. I got them each a new ornament. DZ was thrilled to have his own nutcracker as he really admired Serenity's from last year, and Serenity got Clara. The show was especially fun as we went with Grandma and several girls from Daisies!
