December 12th was so wonderful it will definitely require more scrapbooking, but the highlights from the day include meeting Ashtyn, getting to make gngerbread houses with Brendan, Serenity opening her first Christmas present (an Apron!), playing with Maggie and Brendan, and Daddy getting to play games on a day that just happened to be his birthday! We had delicious goodies galore and wonderful friends to share it with!
December 13th
Gavin and Jennie spent the night with us! We made some eggs to get some nutrition in us all before we started in on the cookies again. Then we checked the advent calendar, which gave Serenity a chocolate snowman and told us it was time for board games! Imagine that =) We pulled out Twister! Serenity was intrigued by the colors. It was an interesting game, as Daddy did whatever Serenity said. If she put her hand on a yellow circle, he did, and he left his there as Serenity wandered around looking at other circles. He got into some pretty fancy positions =) Then we played grown up board games until Gavin and Jennie had to leave!
