Well, it was bound to happen =) I got a few days behind in the posting. Fortunately I've managed to journal every day still so it should be easy to catch up. First up, December 11th and 10th! (the links below will let you see the images larger =) December 11th!
Today we baked our first Christmas cookies! I did a roll out dough and let Serenity use the cookie cutters! Well, she picked which shapes we did. The first thing she wanted to do with them was string them on her arms. It was sooo cute =) She helped me push down the cutter and then she sprinkled the sugar on top! Then, when they came out of the oven, she chose to eat a bird cookie and declared it “mmmm yummy!!!!” She told Daddy to eat a bell.
Today’s Advent Calendar activity was an easy but yummy one… hot chocolate! We had it for breakfast. =) It’s a good thing it was a quick one too, because we got to have Kiley and Ethan over for the whole day!! They enjoyed each other quite a bit, at least until the very end of the day =) The cutest thing they did together was chase rainbows. Kiley came running to me saying rainbow, rainbow, and took me over to see a rainbow my prisms were making on the ground. They were all fascinated by it and kept touching it and oohing over it. Then, Kiley blocked the rainbow, and Ethan said, Rainbow on Kiley’s back!!! That was a lot of fun, when they figured out they could get the rainbow on themselves !
