Serenity kept coming down the stairs to tell me the next book she was reading for her reading log, and dz kept following so he could poke his head over the railing and tell us something important too. Like "I like hearthstone," or " I like the black bird (from angry birds) or " I like you mama. I like you daddy"
DZ loves to write! He is constantly surprising me. One day I looked over and he had written half of his name! And I had no idea he could do that. They trace their names a lot at school, writing with pencils over yellow highlighter. He got all the way to the A and it was legible! And all by himself he decided he wanted to write a letter to Santa. I wrote a few things for him to trace, like the letter S, but he wrote many letters by himself, just asking me how to spell Sword and Santa. He also wanted to add a swinging soccer ball to the list, but I wrote all that out for him. He traced the entire thing! It was wonderful! And that day he wrote his whole name. =)
