December 16th: Penguin Day!
Today the kids got fun penguin poppers. The first projectile toy I bought Donovan =) A ball goes in the penguins mouth and you squeeze it and it pops out. Unfortunately, DZ can't squeeze hard enough to make it pop, so he has to stomp on it =) Still fun! And we read penguin books I got from the library. Other than that, we mostly vegetated at home until it was time for Barrett's birthday. The kids had a great time as always. Casey let them wrestle him, and they loved chasing him around and trapping him. I think he was sorry by the end that he had encouraged such a game, because it never lost the thrill for Serenity and Donovan. =) Barrett had donuts instead of cake, and we definitely approve. Now Eric is covering the kids in tattoos from their goodie bags. I think they are determined to put them all on tonight.
