Hi.

Welcome!

December 7th: Ornament Party!

IMG_4197 I invited Serenity's class to join us for an ornament making party today.  Because of the roads I was afraid no one would be able to come, but one brave family (from Colorado) managed to make it to our house.  Serenity and Rachel had a great time playing together, and they made snow globes and glitter ornaments.  The snow globes are adorable, but I think I need to find stiffer plastic jars.  If you squeeze them, they leak a bit.  I didn't want glass because of the problem with breaking it.  Maybe I'll do dry snow globes with the rest of our large stash of peanut butter jars.  The glitter ornaments were really fun, and I have enough floor wax to make a hundred of them =)  I also completely restocked our glitter supply so we are set for a few months, unless the kids discover where I hide it =)  We had lots of fun, and the girls were thrilled to get to see each other despite school being out Friday and all the snow =)  And hopefully we can set up playdates with some of our other friends that couldn't make it so they can have glittery fun too!

Glitter selection is very important =)

In the evening Phillip, Jessica, Ashlee and Sophia braved the ice for game night!  We watched Serenity and Donovan do a circus performance, they collected toys and cooed over the baby, and then when they went to bed we got to play Forbidden Island, Pizarro, and Shadows Over Camelot!  Jessica is a really good traitor =)

Serenity's balancing act, pixie dust pouch around her neck =)
