December 16th Today our advent activity was play a game! We got brand new soccer goals and balls to celebrate. Donovan was SO excited! He kept yelling "soccer ball! soccer ball!" He kicked them all over the house and into the goal as well, throwing his arms in the air and cheering "goal!" and "I made it!" Serenity showed us a few games she likes to play in class.
Later in the day Mike and Kelly came by to play Dominion with us so Eric could cash in his first gift certificate! Carson and Raegan played so well with Serenity and Donovan, we actually got to enjoy the game. They played soccer, and snowball fight, and Boochie. Serenity cried when Rae won the first game, but then she and Carson tied during the second game so that worked out well. Carson accidentally hit Serenity in the head with a soccer ball, and was so upset he went and stood in the corner until she came over to hug him and tell him she was ok. So sweet.
I made Christmas tree pancakes for dinner. Serenity ate two trees!!! But she especially loved the marshmallow star toppers. =)
