November 30th
Today we're riding the Christmas Train! I'm so excited!!!! First thing in the morning we got our geotrax set out to build a train track under our Christmas tree. The kids love it, and Donovan has been choo chooing all morning. =)
Serenity had a cavity filled this morning. She was amazingly good! Filling a cavity on a four year old is still not easy. I came back from the dentist to find my sister had cleaned my house, vacuumed, mopped and done laundry!!! BEST SISTER EVER!!
The Christmas Train was wonderful fun! Donovan loved the choo choo, and he blew kisses to the conductors and to the train when we got off. Serenity's favorite part was definitely riding the carousel four times. She rode horses she named Jewely, Moondust, Stardust, and a giraffe named Sparkly. Eric and Casey attempted the ropes course, but decided against going past the first level. The cousins had so much fun together, as usual. Casey and Barrett love to make Donovan giggle by pretending to fall and generally acting goofy. Donovan loved patting heads and giggling, and everyone let him. His giggle is so cute. =) Grandma and I did a little shopping and found cute snowflake ornaments for the tree. We ate delicious cinnamon rolls and enjoyed ourselves until nearly 10pm! Crazy!
