Dear family and friends,
We have enjoyed a wonderful first year of marriage and we wanted to share with all the special people in our lives.
Eric is diligently working on his master's thesis in Electrical Engineering. Chrissie loves her scrapbooking, flower lessons, and spending lots of time with her sister Jennifer and nephew Casey. She also worked for a few months at a store called Rathbones. We are still living at Chrissie's mom's house, although we have helped fix it up to put it on the market and will be vacating it when it sells.
We had the opportunity to do some traveling in our first year, beginning shortly after the wedding with our honeymoon. We spent a wonderful month in California at Christmas. Eric got some valuable job experience in Puerto Rico. Chrissie got to spend three weeks in Texas with her family, and Eric got to visit for a weekend. We also went to visit friends in Dallas and Norman several times.
One of our major free time activities is reading books. We also enjoy movies, games, outdoor stuff, playing with family, and having parties, like Diane's 60th birthday and the crazy birthday scavenger hunt Eric planned for Andrea, Doris and Chrissie.
