Marilyn decided she wanted to learn how to quilt, which made Chrissie so excited! Jack and Patricia decided they would make one too, and Andrew is helping Marilyn and doing some hand sewing as well. They are doing a great job and I have so much fun with our quilting parties! Chrissie finally started the Christmas quilt she had been buying fabric for for years. Eric sewed on his cloak during most of the lessons, but then we decided to make a quilt for Phillip and Jessica’s wedding, so he got to learn to sew as well! He did all the sewing and a lot of the cutting for that quilt. The classes are so much fun! Chrissie is about halfway done with hand quilting, Marilyn has hers all pieced and has started the hand quilting. Jack and Patricia, due partially to a mathematical error of Chrissie’s, are still at the piecing stage. (I accidentally made them make twice as many squares as they needed. Darn math…)
