Quilting 2006 |
So many quilts have been made in the last year! I finished my Christmas quilt, which has stayed out almost all year, I likes it so much =) My class has also been doing very well! Jack and Patricia finished and tied their quilt this year. It turned out beautifully! They did such a good job matching their corners =) Marilyn is still hand quilting her quilt, but she is making great progress! I also started a quilt for her friend Aisha. I put it away when I had to get busy with Doris's wedding, and haven't taken it back out yet, so it's only all cut out and partially sewed. The pattern is a kaleidescope, and it's the first time I've done a pattern that isn't mostly squares and half-square triangles. It is so fun, I might have to do another for myself =) Eric and I also made a quilt for our friends Jessica and Phill, for their wedding. It was Eric's first quilt, and he did all the cutting and the sewing. I was the assistant only, pinning and helping out with the binding and finishing. We really hope they like the colors, since we were flying a bit blind on that =) I also made a baby quilt for Jessie and Scott's baby! Baby Hopper is due in August! I did a lot of applique for that one, which was much fun! Next up is a baby quilt for Abbey and Brent's baby, which is due in January. That one will get baby ducks on it =)
