We've continued our almost once a month tradition of going out and playing three team softball at Wilson park. The point of three team softball is a: you don't need to have 18 people to fill the field and b: everyone gets to be on everyone else's team so it's slightly less competitive. In the winter we somehow managed to put softball on the few days it didn't rain (yay rain!) although in the summer we hit the middle of the heat wave and played only three innings with many many water breaks, but we never had to cancel due to weather. Yay California!
In addition to that, Juan invited Eric to play with his competitive softball team, the Mu Shu Crew. He subbed for them during the spring season, and when the summer season began, they invited him to join the team. Eric hit his first ever over the fence home run on a ball he thought he popped up. He's playing mostly outfield, but sometimes gets to play on the infield. Most of the time he bats lead-off. ![]() This was on Memorial Day =) I got to scoop up lots of balls at first =)
