Life Skills Boot Camp: Cooking Week

We’re in the middle of Cooking Life Skills! There was a lot and we had visitors so I scheduled two weeks for this. Today, Maia and Donovan made cookies completely alone, I stayed in an entirely different room. I could hear Maia teaching DZ many parts though, like creaming the butter and sugar and running the hand mixer. Evidently she didn’t supervise him completely though. After the cookies were in the oven Maia yelled, “Mama, we’re out of vanilla!” Well, I thought that was weird because I just bought some. Turns out the difference between tsp and tbsp is not something we’ve covered with DZ before 😂😂😂. They are delicious but pricey cookies!

Mama stay out of the kitchen! We’re doing this alone!

Sera’s kind of sick now but she did learn to scramble her own eggs how she likes them!

Of course Maia picked challenging recipes to follow! Meringues and strawberry shortcake for Sera’s birthday! 🤩. They were yummy!
