Christmas Around the World Day 5: New Zealand!

New Zealand! Christmas on the beach! I got the kids kinetic sand to play with today so they could imagine they are on the beach! Christmas cake in New Zealand is usually pavlova, but since that is way above my pay grade I got some meringue kisses and blueberries

Sera’s and my favorite thing about New Zealand is they have a special tree that blooms At Christmas called the Pohutukawa Tree. It is gorgeous and I would love to see it in person. Sera’s been researching lots of cool botany things for her current creative writing projects so it was fun to share that!
