Christmas Around the World Day 11: Martinique!

Martinique! I had to color this flag myself because it wasn’t the set I bought for Fantastico but didn’t use. In Martinique they do something called La Ribote, where they go caroling and share food with neighbors. So we went for our neighborhood walk to see Christmas lights and left candy canes and notes at our favorite houses. Finn got to go too! It was his longest walk ever! Actually longest for all of us as this is the first year we walked by every house in our neighborhood! I hit 14,500 steps 😂. DZ is obsessed with snowmen so every house with a snowman got a note from him, and he talked his sisters into helping the cause when he ran out. Eric loved the Charlie Brown tree that had a huge yoga ball ornament on a little lopsided tree. So cute! Sera loves dripping icicle lights and projectors and any unusual lights. Maia had seen some really pretty lights as we drove home from swim so she saved enough for the house with a full sized sleigh.
