Medieval Fair

Renaissance Fair! We made it! We always love the fair but don’t always manage to get there with all the May things. It was a bit of a scramble to get costumed this morning but we had a blast! Maia made friends with Lady Jane, dancing at the Maypole and then seeing her in the parade later and all around the fair. Jane remembered her name so Maia made an impression 😜🥰.

Donovan wanted to throw axes and ninja stars, and everyone loved it!

Sera and Auryn loved visiting all the pretty shops. They found really cute earrings! I’m jealous 😂. Sera wanted to see the birds of prey, and they were amazing.

Maia wanted to wear Daddy’s blue cape but he needed it. She was thrilled to find a matching cape in the box so she went with an assassin theme. She wore a Covid mask and two cat masks 😂😂😂. She had a belt pouch to hold all the baubles she collected from the fairies and mermaids! Plus she got some beautiful rocks and a worry stone from one of the shops. 🥰

Sera got to wear the dress and coin skirt she got last year! It was great for dancing!

Victory! We were nearly dragon food though, she was literally 5,4,3 as we opened the last lock and zipped out 😂

Mermaids! The fairies had the girls tag the mermaids, the mermaids had them tag the pirates 😂🥰🤩

We were getting a snack when the parade came by, and Maia shouted “LADY JANE!!!” And she shouted right back, “Lady Maia!!!!” It was awesome.
